Job summary

Thule Group seeks a Product Development Engineer to design and develop products within the RV business line from concept to industrialization, ensuring alignment with Thule quality standards.

You will create and refine 3D designs and drawings, translate concepts into production-ready solutions, and support prototyping, testing and validation in a stage-gate environment. Fluent Dutch and English preferred; reports to the Product Development Leader and collaborates with the Chief Engineer.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electromechanics, Product Development, or equivalent).
• Several years of experience in product development (2–8 years).
• Strong 3D CAD skills (SolidWorks preferred) and experience in technical drawing.
• Good understanding of materials, production processes, and design for manufacturing.
• Hands-on, detail-oriented and ownership-driven, with strong communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products from concept to industrialization.
• Create and refine 3D designs and drawings for production-ready solutions.
• Support prototyping, testing, validation and implement improvements based on results.
• Collaborate with the Chief Engineer on technical decisions and direction.
• Ensure accurate product data in the PLM system and provide internal support.
