Thule Group is seeking a product development engineer to design and develop products for the RV line, including awnings and bike carriers. You will take concepts from idea to industrialization, creating robust 3D designs and technical drawings for production readiness.

You will work with the Chief Engineer, support prototyping and testing, and ensure data integrity in the PLM system while collaborating with internal teams and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Electromechanics, Product Development or equivalent).
• Several years of product development experience (2–8 years).
• Strong 3D CAD skills with SolidWorks; experience in technical drawing.
• Good understanding of materials, production processes and DFM (design for manufacturability).
• Fluent in Dutch and English; knowledge of French and German is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Design and develop products from concept to industrialization.
• Create and refine 3D designs and technical drawings, ensuring robust and production-ready solutions.
• Support prototyping, testing, and validation activities, and implement improvements based on test results.
• Ensure accurate and complete product data in the PLM system.
• Collaborate closely with the Chief Engineer on technical decisions and design direction.
