Job summary

Accenture Belgium is seeking a Delivery Lead in Insurance Technology to drive large-scale transformation programs across life, non-life, and employee benefits domains. You’ll combine deep insurance knowledge with delivery excellence, leading cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore locations.

You’ll partner with executives to define roadmaps, manage budgets and P&L, ensure governance and quality, and contribute to business development and market growth while coaching talent and sharing

Qualifications

• 10+ years leading complex IT and business transformation programs in insurance.
• Experience delivering large programs across core systems, cloud, data, and AI.
• Strong stakeholder management with executive clients; English required; Dutch/French a plus.

Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale insurance transformation programs end-to-end.
• Advise senior client stakeholders on digital transformation, core system modernization, customer experience, and regulatory evolution.
• Establish governance, risk management, quality controls, financial oversight, and execution disciplines.
• Manage program budgets, commercial performance, and overall delivery profitability (P&L responsibility).
• Build, lead, and inspire multidisciplinary teams across onshore and offshore locations.
• Ensure successful delivery across Life Insurance, Non-Life/P&C, Employee Benefits, Claims, Policy Administration, and related areas.
• Collaborate with client executives and Accenture leadership to define transformation roadmaps and priorities.
• Support business development activities including proposals, RFPs, and account growth initiatives.
• Coach talent, build capabilities, and bring market insights to clients to grow the practice.

Your Role

As a Delivery Lead, you will be responsible for the successful delivery of complex transformation initiatives across the insurance value chain, combining deep insurance knowledge with strong delivery excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead large-scale insurance transformation programs, managing end-to-end delivery across business and technology teams.
• Act as a trusted advisor to senior client stakeholders, helping them navigate strategic challenges related to digital transformation, core system modernization, customer experience, operational excellence, data, AI, and regulatory evolution.
• Drive delivery excellence by establishing strong governance, risk management, quality controls, financial oversight, and execution disciplines.
• Manage program budgets, commercial performance, and overall delivery profitability (P&L responsibility).
• Build, lead, and inspire multidisciplinary teams across onshore and offshore locations, creating a high-performance culture focused on client value.

Your Background

We're looking for a seasoned delivery leader who combines strong insurance expertise with a proven track record of leading large-scale technology and business transformations.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience leading complex IT and business transformation programs within the insurance industry.
• Strong knowledge of insurance products, processes, and operating models across one or more insurance domains:
  • Life Insurance
  • Non-Life / P&C Insurance
  • Employee Benefits / Group Insurance
  • Claims
  • Policy Administration
• Proven experience delivering large transformation programs involving core systems, digital platforms, cloud, data, AI, or operational transformation.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, including engagement with executive and C-level client stakeholders.
• Demonstrated experience managing large budgets, commercial delivery, and program governance.
• Deep understanding of Agile delivery methodologies and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience leading geographically distributed teams in complex delivery environments.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with experience contributing to sales, proposals, practice development, and market growth.
• Excellent communication skills in English and good command of Dutch and/or French.
