Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Belgium seeks a Data Engineer to design, build and optimize data pipelines and architectures supporting analytics and engineering needs.

You will work with Python, SQL, Spark and Docker, contribute to CI/CD processes with Jenkins, Jupyter, Superset and Dagster, and collaborate across software, data science, and production teams to strengthen data platforms in defence contexts.

Qualifications

• Master's degree required or equivalent in CS/Engineering/Informatics.
• 3–5 years of solid data engineering experience.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, Spark and Docker for data processing and automation.
• Familiarity with data warehousing and open-source data tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, deploy, validate, and test data pipelines and architectures for analytics and engineering needs.
