Nexeo is seeking an experienced Data Visualization Specialist in Belgium to support the Operational & Permanent Control department of a leading financial institution. You will transform complex data into actionable insights and play a key role in reporting, dashboard development, and data storytelling.

With a hybrid working model of 50% onsite and 50% remote, this long-term assignment offers the opportunity to work on high-visibility initiatives within a major banking institution.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Visualization, Reporting, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
• Strong experience translating business needs into dashboards and reporting solutions.

Overview

To support the Operational & Permanent Control (OPC) department of a leading financial institution, we are seeking an experienced Data Visualization Specialist to join the OPC Control & Reporting Factory.

You will play a key role in transforming complex data into actionable insights, supporting business decision-making through advanced reporting, dashboard development, data storytelling and reporting governance.

Your Role

As a Data Visualization Specialist, you will:

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify reporting, dashboarding and visualization needs.
• Gather and analyze requirements, translating business needs into interactive dashboards, prototypes and reporting solutions.
• Collect, prepare and structure data to support reporting and visualization initiatives.
• Design, develop, optimize, maintain and decommission dashboards and reports throughout their full lifecycle.
• Build compelling data stories and visualizations that support decision-making and business performance monitoring.
• Drive reporting automation initiatives and continuously improve reporting efficiency and quality.
• Collaborate with Data Engineers to define sustainable and scalable data solutions aligned with data governance and enterprise data strategy.
• Promote reporting standardization, best practices and visualization guidelines across the organization.
• Act as ambassador of reporting governance, data quality and reporting consistency.
• Deliver user training, documentation and support to maximize adoption of reporting solutions.
• Contribute to data-driven optimization projects and innovation initiatives leveraging modern technologies.
• Produce recurring operational, tactical and strategic reporting for Operational & Permanent Control.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Business Intelligence or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in Data Visualization, Reporting, Business Intelligence or Data Analytics.
• Strong experience translating business needs into dashboards and reporting solutions.
• Proven expertise in data storytelling, visualization design and KPI reporting.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality and security principles.
• Ability to communicate complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience within Banking or Financial Services is considered a strong asset.
