Job summary

Neurho Solutions is seeking a Data Quality Consultant to build reliable data quality pipelines and make problems visible across data products, including data on stops, routes and journeys. You will collaborate with Data Engineers and data stewards to develop a scalable quality programme in Belgium and Luxembourg.

You will work with Python/SQL, Azure Databricks, Power BI and related Azure services to ensure data quality rules address operational and technical needs, while visualising errors for

Qualifications

• At least one year of experience with Python or SQL.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the relevant ICT technology or a similar technology, built over at least one year.
• Dutch at C2 level.

Responsibilities

• Build an understanding of the data and its business meaning, so that quality checks address operational needs as well as technical issues.
• Discuss quality requirements with data stewards and translate functional needs into technical quality rules.
• Design, develop and maintain data quality pipelines within a Data Engineering team, integrating quality rules into pipelines and monitoring processes.
• Visualise data errors and quality issues so that data stewards and data producers can investigate and act on them.
• Help the business prioritise data quality needs and proactively propose improvements.
• Contribute to a scalable data quality programme in collaboration with ICT, data teams, data governance and business stakeholders.
• Work in an environment that includes Azure Databricks and Unity Catalog, Azure Function Apps, Container Apps, Event Hubs, Data Factory, Apache Spark, Python, SQL, data contracts, SODA, Power BI and Power Query.

We are looking for a Data Quality Consultant to build reliable data quality pipelines and make problems visible across business-critical data products, including data on stops, routes and journeys. In this Neurho mission, you will work alongside Data Engineers and data stewards to develop a sustainable, scalable quality programme. Your work will strengthen the foundations for data-driven operations and further developments in data and AI.

Your role

You have

• At least one year of experience with Python or SQL.
• Demonstrable knowledge of the relevant ICT technology or a similar technology, built over at least one year.
• Dutch at C2 level.

A plus

• Experience using Power BI as a visualisation tool.
• A master's degree or bachelor's degree in a technical or engineering discipline, or equivalent experience with the relevant ICT technology.
• Experience in a Microsoft Azure environment.
• Experience using Databricks for data exploration.
• Experience with a data quality framework.
