Responsibilities
- Support clients in executing the data quality cycle: analysis, assessment, impact assessment, and remediation, enabling them to monitor, prevent, and address critical data quality issues.
- Analyze data sources to identify trends, determine business impact, find root causes, collaborate to resolve issues, and recommend long‑term solutions.
- Gather data to identify and interpret trends, optimize efficiency and quality by cleansing data, and resolve data quality issues.
- Run data queries to uncover coding issues and exceptions.
- Help clients become data‑driven by bridging business and technology, advising on best practices, tooling, and implementation processes.
- Implement data quality principles, processes, and standards, embedding them into the clients’ daily rhythm to improve trust in data domains.
- Collaborate with business and database/application developers to improve processes and system and database designs.
- Stay updated on the latest developments in data quality analysis and tooling.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in engineering, IT, information management, or equivalent experience.
- 2 to 5 years’ experience in consulting or service‑oriented environments, with at least 2 years in data analysis.
- Experience with data quality tooling such as Collibra DQ, Soda, Great Expectations, Informatica CDQ, etc.
- Knowledge of organizational data landscapes, end‑to‑end data flows, architecture, and data engineering/science principles.
- Affinity with use cases such as Business Glossary, Data Catalog, Data Lineage or Reporting Governance is a plus.
- Proven success in a team‑oriented environment.
- Excellent leadership, written and oral communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.
Skillset
- Advanced analytical and problem‑solving skills.
- Proficiency in SQL supplemented with at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, Groovy, R).
- Experience with data quality tooling.
- Experience with data governance solutions (Collibra, Datahub, Purview, etc.) is a plus.
