Datashift in Antwerp is seeking a skilled Data Engineer to translate client needs into scalable data solutions, building ETL pipelines and infrastructure as code that deliver real business value. You will design data solutions and work closely with data scientists, BI specialists and business consultants to maximize impact.

Qualifications

• Programming expertise with Python.
• You feel energized when writing and observing well-structured code.
• Strong background in development, with knowledge in languages such as Java and/or PHP.
• API Integration skills.
• Experience with pipeline automation (i.e. Airflow).
• Deep knowledge of SQL.
• Experience with AWS/GCP/Azure/Ansible/Terraform.
• Experience with Linux is a plus.
• Fluent in Dutch and/or French and English.

Responsabilités

• Design data solutions, making the trade-off between cost and maintainability.
• Work together with Data Scientists, BI specialists and Business Consultants to deliver value to our customers.
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in data technology and actively participate in sharing your knowledge with your colleagues.
• Monitor the quality and stability of data solutions.
• Coach other Data Engineers.

Datashift is a fast-growing consultancy team with a focus on delivering solutions that answer business questions with data and facts. For one of our fastest growing practices, we are looking for a skilled Data Engineer.

Do you have at least 3 to 6 years of experience? Do you love to work on projects and look at them from an end-to-end data perspective. Then we are delighted to receive your personal application and we’ll contact you for an interview and a (virtual) cup of coffee.

Your Responsibilities

• Translate client needs into maintainable data solution (ETL/Infrastructure as a code/Interfaces/pipelines, ...);
• Design data solutions, making the trade-off between cost and maintainability;
• Work together with Data Scientists, BI specialists and Business Consultants to deliver value to our customers;
• Stay up to date with the latest developments in data technology and actively participate in sharing your knowledge with your colleagues;
