Job summary

Orange Business is seeking a Techical Team Lead - Data Ops Engineering to steer a Data Ops team while delivering data engineering projects as a consultant. The role focuses on leading a team of 10-15 consultants, guiding strategy, and driving cloud-based data solutions for diverse clients in FR or NL markets.

The ideal candidate combines leadership experience with strong SQL/Python and a deep understanding of data modeling, DevOps, and cloud technologies.

Qualifications

• A master's degree or PhD in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Business Engineering, Physics or any related field
• At least 5 years of relevant experience as a Data/DevOps/Software Engineer.
• A strong SQL and Python knowledge.
• Deployment and Orchestration: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Airflow, etc.
• Data-Oriented Mindset: knowledge of data modeling and data-architecture core concepts.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a Data Ops team of 10-15 consultants.
• Define and implement the team strategy with other data leads.
• Foster a positive, innovative culture and support consultants’ growth.
• Recruit resources and align skills with objectives and market needs.
• Support sales by staffing requests, RFIs, and RFPs with innovative solutions.
• Staffing optimization based on company performance and client needs.
• Continue contributing as a consultant on data engineering projects in the Cloud.
