Job summary

Moro Technology Corporation is seeking a seasoned Data Modeller to design and maintain enterprise data models across cloud environments. You will create canonical models supporting cross-functional processes, data integration, and lakehouse architectures on Databricks and Azure, collaborating with architects, engineers, and stakeholders.

Ideal candidates have 5+ years in enterprise data modelling, strong data architecture expertise, and experience in logistics or supply chain domains, plus AI

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in enterprise data modelling within modern cloud data environments.
• Mandatory experience with Databricks and Data Architecture principles.
• Expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modelling methodologies.
• Strong knowledge of domain-driven design and enterprise information modelling.
• Experience with Azure data platforms, Data Lakehouse architectures, SQL, APIs, and data integration.
• Understanding of data engineering concepts including Spark, Delta Lake, ETL/ELT, and Python.
• Familiarity with metadata management, governance frameworks, and data quality practices.
• Experience in logistics, warehousing, transportation, inventory, planning, manufacturing, or supply chain domains.
• Experience using AI tools to enhance productivity and solution delivery.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to architecture reviews and solution design activities.

The impact of the role:

We are looking for a highly skilled Data Modeller to design and maintain enterprise and domain-level data models that support operational, analytical, and strategic business needs. This role will be responsible for establishing high-quality, scalable, and reusable data structures across the organization's cloud data platform. Experience with Databricks, Data Architecture, and enterprise data modelling practices is essential.

On a given day,a Data Modeller will:

• Design and maintain conceptual, logical, and physical data models for enterprise and domain-specific solutions.
• Develop canonical business data models that support cross-functional processes and data integration.
