Sopra Steria's Data Visualization Practice is seeking a Data Insights Consultant to bridge business needs and data solutions. You will translate reporting requirements into KPIs, design dashboards and collaborate with Power BI, data engineers and governance specialists.
In a hybrid model, you’ll work from home and on client sites, shaping analytics strategies, enabling self-service analytics and ensuring data-driven decisions across projects for diverse clients in Europe.

You will become part of a multidisciplinary team where data engineering, architecture, AI, analytics, governance and visualization come together. Together, we help clients get more value out of their data: from setting up the right data foundations to building dashboards, analytics solutions and AI use cases that support better decisions.
As a Data Insights Consultant, you will contribute to this by helping clients translate business questions into clear KPIs, reporting requirements and actionable insights. You act as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical data teams, ensuring that analytics solutions answer the right questions and create meaningful business value.
You gather and challenge business requirements, facilitate stakeholder workshops and translate reporting needs into user stories, KPI definitions, reporting logic and visual concepts. You use tools such as SQL and Power BI to explore data, validate assumptions and create reports or prototypes that make complex information understandable.
You work closely with Power BI Consultants, Data Engineers, Architects and Governance specialists to ensure that reporting solutions are reliable, feasible and aligned with the wider data landscape. Beyond individual dashboards, you also help clients improve reporting quality, develop self‑service analytics and increase the adoption of data‑driven ways of working.
Depending on the project, you will combine working from home and our offices with working at client sites. When matching you with a client assignment, we take your home location into account, with the aim of keeping your commute reasonable.

Our work goes beyond dashboard delivery. We help organizations modernize their reporting landscapes, roll out self‑service analytics, define BI best practices and create reporting environments that are scalable, governed and adopted by the business.
You’ll grow your expertise in tools such as Power BI, Fabric, Azure and Tableau, while also developing your skills in business analysis, data visualization, governance and stakeholder collaboration. You’ll do this in a collaborative team where knowledge sharing, technical deep dives and coaching are part of the way we work.
