Wlgroup is seeking a data governance professional to lead the weekly governance board, plan and run sessions, and close with clear decisions and owners. You will prepare submission packages, verify completeness, and ensure decisions are well-supported by record-keeping.

The role requires managing decisions and actions, tracking data quality metrics, and ensuring artefacts meet terms of reference, with weekly reporting and clear ownership across stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Data governance in practice: running boards, owning artefacts, keeping a trusted register.
• Chairing meetings where technical and non-technical stakeholders decide.
• Defining and reporting data quality and governance indicators, turning them into actions.
• Onboarding data sources — evidence, sequence and procedures.
• Minutes and records that support recorded recommendations and decisions.
• Fluent professional English.

Responsabilités

• Chairing the weekly data governance board — planning it, running it, and closing it with clear decisions, actions and named owners.
• Preparing submission packages for the board, ensuring completeness and maturity for decision.
• Recording proceedings: decisions, actions, owners and deadlines, with traceable storage.
• Tracking and reporting data governance indicators and data quality measures weekly.
• Checking artefacts against terms of reference and reporting gaps or out-of-date items.
• Supervising the working group that prepares decision and recommendation packs.
• Proposing and tracking corrective and improvement actions.
