Wlgroup is seeking a data governance professional to chair the weekly governance board, plan the agenda, run the meeting, and close with clear decisions, actions and named owners. You will prepare submission packages, verify artefacts, record proceedings and track data quality indicators with root-cause analysis to ensure traceability and accountability across the organisation.

Responsabilités

• Chair weekly data governance board meetings, plan the agenda, run the session and close with clear decisions, actions and named owners.
• Prepare the submission packages for the board and confirm each one is complete and mature for decision.
• Record proceedings with decisions, actions, owners and deadlines in a traceable format.
• Track and report data governance indicators and data quality measures, naming root causes rather than just numbers.
• Check that governance artefacts are collected against the board's terms of reference and report gaps or outdated items.
• Supervise the working group that prepares decision and recommendation packages.
• Propose and track corrective and improvement actions arising from governance activities.

A multinational defence organisation is putting its data governance on a proper footing. This is the role that runs it week by week: the board, the packages that go to it, the decisions that come out of it, and the indicators that show whether any of it is working.

What you would be doing

• Chairing the weekly data governance board — planning it, running it, and closing it with clear decisions, actions and named owners.
• Preparing the submission packages that go to that board, and confirming each one is complete and mature enough to be decided on rather than deferred.
• Recording proceedings properly: decisions, actions, owners and deadlines, distributed to the people they bind and stored where they stay traceable.
• Tracking and reporting data governance indicators and data quality measures every week, and naming the performance gaps and their root causes rather than the numbers alone.
• Checking that the mandatory governance artefacts are actually collected against the board's terms of reference, and reporting what is missing or out of date.
• Supervising the working group that prepares decision and recommendation packages, so what reaches the board has already been worked.
• Proposing and tracking the corrective and improvement actions that follow from all of it.

What you would bring
