recurv in Brussels is seeking a hands-on data governance specialist to join a strategic program focused on data governance, data quality and AI governance. You will help build and operate the internal tool that captures governance data, supports lineage and feeds dashboards.

You will translate stakeholder needs into technical solutions, contribute to data model changes, testing, releases, and work closely with internal teams and the group IT provider.

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in data management, data analysis, or data reporting.
• Practical experience with data quality and automating quality controls.
• Solid knowledge of data modeling and the ability to implement solutions technically.
• Good knowledge of Python; ability to read SAS and preferably SQL.
• French for daily collaboration; English is also important. Dutch is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Build and maintain the internal data governance and data quality tool.
• Translate business and management needs into technical solutions and data model adjustments.
• Automate data quality checks in Python.
• Work on lineage visualization and the integration of data into database and storage layers.
• Maintain technical templates and Excel/VBA-based interfaces within the setup.
• Coordinate technical discussions, testing, releases, and migration topics with managers, consultants and the group IT provider.
• Support acceptance testing and release cycles in a structured development, test, and production environment.
