Data Wizards is seeking a Data Engineer to join our team of Wizards, focusing on designing, building and maintaining robust data pipelines for telecom clients. You will collaborate across teams to ensure data is structured for analytics, using SQL and Python to process large datasets while emphasizing data quality and performance.

Ideal candidates hold a Master’s in a technical field with 1–3 years in data engineering, preferably in consulting.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a technical field (or equivalent experience).
• 1–3 years of experience in Data Engineering or related role, preferably in a consulting environment.
• Strong SQL and Python skills; SAS and big data knowledge.
• Experience with Hive is a plus (not required).
• Familiarity with spatial data analysis is a plus.

• Supporting the design, building, and maintenance of robust data pipelines to help our telecom client derive actionable insights.
• Collaborating with the team and stakeholders to ensure data is structured and processed effectively for analytics and insights.
• Utilizing SQL and Python to process and analyze large datasets, focusing on data quality and performance.
• Working with spatial data and applying analysis techniques to gain insights into complex telecom data.
• Implementing best practices in data engineering, ensuring scalability and maintainability in the system.
• Supporting the team in data engineering tasks like troubleshooting, optimization, and improvement of data workflows.
