JoBBsquare Belgie is seeking a Data Engineer - Production & Supply Chain to transform operational data into reliable data products supporting reporting, BI, ML, and AI. You will design and maintain ETL/ELT pipelines across ERP, MES, WMS, and other systems, ensuring data quality, observability, and scalable analytics for production, planning, inventory, and logistics.

Collaborate with data scientists, BI, IT, and business stakeholders; fluency in English is required, Dutch a plus.

Qualifications

• Master's degree in data/IT/engineering or related field.
• Strong SQL and Python skills.
• Experience with modern cloud data platforms (Azure, Databricks).
• Experience with data modelling, ETL/ELT, data warehouses and lakehouse architectures.
• Knowledge of data quality, governance, observability, and performance.
• Proactive collaboration with data scientists, BI, IT and business stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Develop, maintain, and optimize ETL/ELT pipelines transforming operational data into trusted datasets for BI, analytics, ML, and AI applications.
• Integrate data from ERP, MES, WMS, planning, transport, and quality management systems.
• Design and manage data products and semantic models for production performance, forecasting, inventory management, planning, traceability, and logistics costs.
• Ensure data quality, monitoring, lineage, and observability across data platforms.
• Apply Version Control, CI/CD, DataOps, and data modelling standards.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into scalable data solutions and insights.
