Jems Group in Belgium is seeking a Data Engineer to build robust data solutions that turn complex challenges into actionable business opportunities. You will own the data lifecycle from ingestion to exploitation, enabling departments to make data-driven decisions, with a strong DevOps and cloud mindset.

The role requires a degree in engineering and at least 3 years on large-scale data projects, plus fluency in French, Dutch, and English. Proficiency in SQL and an OO language is essential.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience on large-scale data projects.
• Fluency in French, Dutch, and English (written and spoken).

Responsabilités

• End-to-End Solution Design: participate in the full architectural journey from data acquisition to exploitation.
• Data Integration: collect and weave diverse datasets to solve business problems.
• Quality & Governance: monitor data quality and enforce governance standards.
• Bridging the Gap: translate business needs into clear technical data rules.
• Industrialisation: scale deployments with unit, integration, and regression testing.
