Job summary

QuantumBlack, AI by McKinsey is seeking a data engineering professional to design and maintain scalable data pipelines and secure data environments for AI applications. You will collaborate with data scientists, ML engineers, and industry experts to translate hypotheses into engineered features and contribute to next‑generation AI capabilities.

You will be based in one of our BeNeLux offices as part of a global Data Engineering community, working in cross‑functional Agile teams to deliver data

Qualifications

Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
Experience in a data-focused role (internships, academic projects).
Ability to write clean, well-documented code in Python and SQL.
Interest in data engineering in Agentic AI, Generative AI, ML, or BI across data formats.

Responsibilities

Build foundational data infrastructure powering AI applications.
Design and maintain scalable data pipelines and secure data environments.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver AI solutions.
Translate hypotheses into engineered features and contribute to R&D for AI capabilities.
Work with clients across industries to deliver scalable data foundations.
