Vivid Resourcing Ltd is expanding its data team in Belgium, seeking a data engineer with a strong focus on Databricks, Python, SQL and cloud-based data engineering. The role offers hybrid work from the Ghent office and growth within a scaling veterinary and animal-health organisation.

You will build scalable ETL/ELT pipelines, work with Databricks and Spark to process data, and develop cloud-based data lakes and platforms.

Competenze

• 2–5 years of Data Engineering experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills.
• Hands-on with Databricks, Spark, cloud platforms and tools.

Mansioni

• Build and optimise scalable ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Work with Databricks and Apache Spark to process and transform data.
• Develop cloud-based data lakes, warehouses and platforms.
• Integrate data from APIs, databases and SaaS apps.
• Develop data models to support analytics, reporting and AI initiatives.
• Improve data quality, monitoring, governance and platform reliability.
• Collaborate with engineers, analysts and stakeholders.
