Job summary

You will design, develop and operate data pipelines and models using SQL and PySpark, create dimensional models for analytics, and own data quality from source to reporting in a gaming environment, sharing knowledge in the Git repository to help teams trust data.

Qualifications

• Strong SQL skills with ability to write and optimise complex queries.
• Experience with PySpark (or Python) in data engineering.
• Solid data modelling knowledge including Kimball-style star schemas.
• 3–6 years of hands-on data engineering experience with end-to-end ownership.
• Collaborative mindset, clear communication, and comfort in gaming industry.
• Professional English.

Responsibilities

• Build data products: design and develop pipelines and models in SQL and PySpark.
• Model data: create clear dimensional models for analytics and Power BI usage.
• Own quality: implement tests, investigate failed loads, improve reliability.
• Improve existing pipelines: tune jobs, evolve schemas, reduce costs.
