Dataroots, a Talan company, is seeking an AI Software Engineer to deliver end-to-end data and AI solutions for clients. You will work with a team of AI engineers, data engineers, and cloud experts to build LLM applications and GenAI use cases.

You design, build, and deploy production-grade AI systems with a focus on reliability, scalability, and security, ensuring practical value beyond experiments. Remote-friendly with on-site client work in Belgium.

Qualifications

• Strong Python experience on large projects with solid software design.
• Hands-on Git and SQL with CI/CD and monitoring for AI systems.
• Cloud engineering with Terraform and Docker; production-grade apps.
• Knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP.
• Understanding of (gen)AI concepts and GenAI use cases.
• Experience designing LLM apps in Python with attention to latency, cost, failures.
• Production mindset for reliability, observability and governance.
