ABAKUS IT-SOLUTIONS in Brussels is seeking an experienced Data Engineer to join an innovative Digital & Data environment and contribute to projects supporting the energy transition.

You will work in an Agile Product Team designing data pipelines with SQL Server, Azure Databricks and Python, collaborating with analysts and stakeholders to deliver robust, scalable solutions in a hybrid work setting.

Qualifications

• 3–5+ years of hands-on Data Engineering experience.
• Strong expertise in at least 2 of: SQL Server, Azure Data Engineering, Python/Databricks, modern data technologies.

Responsabilités

• Designing and developing data pipelines and data solutions.
• Working with SQL Server, Azure Databricks, Azure Data Factory, Azure Functions and Azure DevOps.
• Developing data pipelines and enrichments using Python and Databricks.
• Contributing to data quality, governance, lineage and documentation.
• Working closely with Business Analysts and stakeholders to transform requirements into effective solutions.
• Contributing to testing, DevOps practices and continuous improvement.
• Exploring new technologies such as Redis, RabbitMQ, Neo4j or Apache Arrow.

Your profile

We are looking for someone with:

• A product-oriented and customer-focused mindset.

• An Agile mindset and a willingness to continuously learn and improve.
