As a Data Engineer, you will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing the organization's data and business intelligence platform. You will help build a scalable, reliable, and future-proof data environment using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring data is accessible, consistent, secure, and efficient for reporting, analytics, and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data solutions, including lakehouses, data warehouses, semantic models, and automated data pipelines.
• Design, develop, and optimize ETL/ELT processes.
• Build and maintain SQL solutions for data transformation and integration.
• Develop automation solutions using Python and Power Automate.
• Create and maintain Power BI datasets, reports, and dashboards for management and business departments.
• Monitor and improve data quality, performance, and consistency across data solutions.
• Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to translate business requirements into effective data solutions.
• Identify opportunities for automation and implement improvements to existing data processes.
• Support the development of reliable data insights that enable informed business decisions.

Your Profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Applied Computer Science, Data Science, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience developing ETL/ELT processes.
• Familiarity with Python and Power Automate for data processing and automation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an interest in data architecture and scalable solutions.
• Excellent communication skills and fluency in Dutch.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and reliable, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
