Google's Hardware Operations team in Belgium seeks an Operations Technician to install, configure, test, troubleshoot, and maintain servers and server software. You will handle networking components and participate in small project teams for larger installations, with a hands-on role in racks and infrastructure at the cutting edge of computer technology.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the AI and Infrastructure teams, involvement in Google Cloud region deployments, and readiness to work

Responsabilités

• Contribute to and lead efforts/projects in deployment, maintenance, and support of Google Cloud region infrastructure.
• Lead troubleshooting and resolve escalated technical issues regarding affected equipment.
• Help test and troubleshoot new server hardware components and designs; configure and troubleshoot OS-related issues on the server.
• Resolve technical issues using different tools until final resolution, communicating with stakeholders.
• Work non-standard hours, including weekends, night shifts, holidays and on shift-based schedules as needed.

As an Operations Technician, you'll install, configure, test, troubleshoot and maintain hardware (like servers and its components) and server software (like Google's Linux cluster). You'll also take on the configuration of more complex components such as networks, routers, hubs, bridges, switches and networking protocols. You'll participate in or lead small project teams on larger installations and develop project contingency plans. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.

Belgium: €78000 - €79500 (EUR) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits
