Google is seeking an Engineer for their Hardware Operations team in Saint-Ghislain, Belgium. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the physical infrastructure of servers and networks, ensuring they run smoothly in our data centers.

Key responsibilities include installing, configuring, and troubleshooting network equipment, as well as participating in on-call shifts. A Bachelor's degree and experience in server system maintenance are preferred. Salary is between €64,000 and €66,000, with additional bonus and benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with diagnosing and troubleshooting operating systems, computer hardware, and server hardware.
• Experience with assembly of mechanical or electrical systems or performing component-level repairs.
• Ability to work non-standard hours including weekends and night shifts.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, maintain, and deploy physical infrastructure in data centers.
• Contribute to maintenance and support of new data center servers.
• Install and maintain switches and routers while diagnosing broken equipment.
