Job summary

IntelligenzIT is seeking a Solution Architect for the Datacenter Migration Program in Belgium. The role requires leading architecture across on-premises datacenters and public cloud, with emphasis on data center assessments, modernization, and hybrid cloud readiness.

The ideal candidate will have 8-10 years of architecture experience, strong stakeholder communication, and a track record of delivering large-scale IT transformations and cross-team initiatives in hybrid environments.

Qualifications

• 8-10 years of experience in architecting large engagements in Applications and Infrastructure.
• Strong communication and presentation skills for senior management.
• Experience in managing teams and driving cross-stakeholder solutions.
• Experience in Business or IT Transformation programs.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions spanning on-premise datacenters and at least one public cloud.
• Lead data center assessments for consolidation, modernization, and business continuity.
• Design greenfield datacenter converged/hyper-converged infrastructure and landing zones.
• Oversee large-scale transformation and workload migrations across hybrid cloud.
• Migrate workloads using native and third-party tools across environments.
• IaC builds and configurations; automate and orchestrate with native tooling and PowerShell.
• Experience with virtualization (VMware/Nutanix) and storage in on-prem stacks.

Job description

Working schedule: 2 days per week in Mechelen city (Belgium)

Context: Datacenter Migration Program

Roles and responsibilities:

• Solution Architect with knowledge spanning multiple technologies including On-premise Datacenter and at least one public cloud.
• Experience in Data center assessments for consolidation - EOL/EOS, technology upgrade, hybrid cloud fitment, Business continuity & work load patterns.
• Experience in Designing Green field datacenter converged & hyper converged infrastructure, Public Cloud Landing Zones
• Experience in large scale transformation and transition projects
• Experience in migrating workload across hybrid cloud environment using native & third party tools.
• Experience in IaC ( Infrastructure as Code ) builds and configurations, Ability to Automate & Orchestrate using native tools and powershell.
• On premise Technology Stack exposure to any one of the following Virtualization (Vmware/Nutanix) server hardware and Storage.
• Build: Has been a build SME & architect of DC & Hybrid cloud including integration of them.

Addition Capabilities/ Years of Experience:

• Should have 8-10 years of experience in architecting and managing large engagements in the Applications and Infrastructure space
• Strong communication and presentation skills, proven experience in interacting with Senior Management
• Prior experience in Managing Teams
• Self-driven and motivated individual
• Strong ability to own and drive solutions across stakeholders and bring multiple groups together towards common goal
• Good understanding of Industry trends and NextGen Technologies.
