Reboot Monkey in Evere, Belgium is seeking a Data Center Technician to install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment on-site. This freelance, permanent role requires expert cabling skills and hands-on work with racks, power distribution, and UPS systems.

You will monitor environmental systems, respond to incidents, document assets, and collaborate with engineering and operations to plan capacity upgrades.

Qualifications

• 3+ years data center operations experience.
• Expert cabling skills (Cat6/6a, OM3/OM4/OS2 fiber).
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in demanding environments.
• Excellent documentation and communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Install, configure, and maintain server and network equipment.
• Perform structured cabling (copper and fiber optic).
• Execute hardware deployments and decommissions.
• Monitor environmental systems (power, cooling, security).
• Respond to incidents and perform troubleshooting.

Compensation & Benefits

€45,000-59,000/year (EUR annual)

Work Schedule

• Freelance permanent position
• Standard business hours with on-call rotation
• Shift differentials for nights/weekends when applicable

Key Responsibilities
