Responsabilités

• Analyse the existing data flows, reporting processes and dashboard landscape.
• Review and consolidate reports from multiple sources into a centralized reporting solution.
• Translate PowerPoint-based reporting into clear and effective Power BI reports.
• Design and implement a new Power BI dashboard focused on efficiency, flexibility and usability.
• Support the automation of data extraction and refresh processes.
• Define and promote best practices for Power BI structure, reporting and usage.
• Train and coach a business user so they can independently maintain and further develop the Power BI environment.
• Present findings, recommendations and project progress clearly to management and non-technical stakeholders.

We’re looking for a BI Reporting Specialist to join our client’s team and help turn fragmented, manual reporting into a centralized and automated Power BI environment. You’ll play an important role in improving data visibility for management, streamlining existing reporting processes and creating a more efficient and flexible reporting solution. This is a long-term consulting opportunity for someone who combines strong Power BI expertise with an analytical mindset and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyse the existing data flows, reporting processes and dashboard landscape.
• Review and consolidate reports from multiple sources into a centralized reporting solution.
• Translate existing PowerPoint-based reporting into clear and effective Power BI reports.

Profile & Technical Skills

You are an accurate and methodical professional with proven experience in BI and reporting. You work well with others, communicate clearly and can translate complex data and reporting requirements into practical solutions. Strong hands-on Power BI experience is essential, complemented by good knowledge of MS Office. Experience with Power Automate is a plus. Knowledge of project management is an advantage, while experience in insurance and/or financial environments is considered beneficial. A bachelor’s or master’s degree is preferred.

Ideal Candidate

The ideal candidate combines technical reporting expertise with strong presentation and stakeholder management skills. You are comfortable working independently while actively collaborating with business users and management. You have a structured approach, pay attention to detail and are able to explain technical concepts in a clear and accessible way. Fluency in both Dutch and English is required.
