Hive-X is seeking a Security Engineer to enhance IT security measures in compliance with the NIS2 directive. You will work closely with the IT department and contribute to cybersecurity projects, implementing necessary security configurations across IT assets.

The role requires a strong foundation in IT or cybersecurity, with experience in securing environments and a comprehensive understanding of cybersecurity principles. Working mainly on-site in Namur, fluency in French is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in technical roles (systems, networks, security).
• Good command of operational IT environments including systems and networks.
• Experience in securing and hardening IT environments.
• Understanding of cybersecurity principles and regulatory requirements in NIS2 context.
• Able to work on cross-functional projects.

Responsabilités

• Contribute to the inventory of IT assets in line with NIS2 requirements.
• Implement and maintain hardening measures on environments.
• Support project teams in integrating technical security requirements.
• Configure and operate technical security mechanisms.
• Analyze technical gaps and contribute to their remediation.
