Job summary

Thales Belgium is seeking an experienced Cybersecurity Architecture Team Leader to guide a team of cybersecurity architects and drive Secure-by-Design across projects. You will lead architecture work, review cybersecurity delivery, and ensure on-time, on-cost, and on-quality outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years in cybersecurity or defense programs, with strong leadership, threat modelling, risk management, and cryptography expertise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related STEM field with 8+ years of experience (implied).
• Experience across system & cybersecurity architecture throughout full product development lifecycle.
• Experience leading engineering teams on complex cybersecurity or defense programs.

Responsibilities

• Leadership and team management of the cybersecurity architects team.
• Drive bid estimation, project planning and on-time delivery while meeting Secure-by-Design standards.
• Champion innovation and drive continuous improvement within the team and organization.
• Promote transparent communication and alignment across teams.
