Thales is seeking a Cybersecurity Architect for Cryptography Projects in Tubize. You will design cryptographic architectures, lead system specification, and act as the technical authority on cryptography, driving risk assessments and best practices.

You will own technical documentation and support pre-sales activities, guiding cross-functional teams to timely, secure delivery while ensuring compliance with global standards and customer requirements.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree and 5+ years designing embedded security systems (requirements, architecture, testing).
• 3+ years in at least 3 of model-based system engineering, Common Criteria, cybersecurity deployment, IP/IPv6 networking, or embedded Linux.
• Hands-on cryptography-centric design including crypto governance and risk assessments.
• Experience with security certification frameworks (e.g., Common Criteria) in high-assurance environments.
• Familiarity with Capella, DOORS, Polarion, Jira or LaTeX is a strong differentiator.

Responsabilités

• Design customer-centric cryptographic architectures and interface with stakeholders.
• Lead system specification, design, and Make/Team/Buy decisions with hardware, software, security, and QA teams.
• Act as the technical authority on cryptography and drive risk assessments and best practices.
• Own technical documentation (HLD/LLD, test plans, user manuals) with end-to-end traceability.
• Support sales/marketing in pre-sales activities (RFIs/RFPs, demos, PoCs).
• Guide development and testing teams to ensure on-time delivery and security compliance.
• Assess and mitigate cryptographic risks while aligning with global standards.
