Cream Consulting is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst to protect business-critical systems in Brussels. You will detect, analyze, and respond to cyber threats while collaborating with IT, infrastructure, and application teams.

The role requires 3+ years in IT security, fluency in French and English, and a strong foundation in SIEM, network security, and compliance with ISO 27001/NIST/OWASP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent by experience.
• At least 3 years of IT security or cybersecurity experience.
• Solid knowledge of security concepts: network security, IAM, vulnerabilities, threat detection.
• Hands-on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring.
• Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP standards.
• Fluent in French and English; Dutch a plus.
• Basic scripting (Python, PowerShell) is a plus.

YOUR FUTURE PROJECTS :

As Nathan, Cybersecurity Analyst at Cream, you play a key role in protecting business‑critical systems and data by detecting, analyzing and responding to cyber threats.

Your tasks will be :

• Monitor security events and alerts using SIEM tools
• Analyze logs and investigate potential security incidents
• Identify, assess and respond to cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities
• Perform vulnerability assessments and support remediation actions
• Contribute to incident response activities and post-incident analysis
• Ensure compliance with security policies, standards and best practices (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP, …)
• Collaborate with IT, infrastructure and application teams to improve security controls

WHAT DO WE EXPECT FROM OUR CONSULTANT ?

• You have at least a Bachelor degree or equivalent by experience.
• You have at least 3 years of relevant experience in IT security or cybersecurity.
• You have good knowledge in security concepts : network security, IAM, vulnerabilities, threat detection
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM tools and security monitoring
• Understanding of security standards and frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, OWASP)
• Fluent in French and English; a good level of Dutch is an asset
• Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, PowerShell or similar) is a plus
