Jobtailor is seeking a senior security leader to guide and grow a team of CISO/ISO consultants in Belgium. You will collaborate with clients to translate business objectives into robust security programs, assess maturity against ISO/NIST standards, and drive risk-based roadmaps that mitigate vulnerabilities.

You will lead policy development, coordinate steered client engagements, and communicate security posture to stakeholders, ensuring alignment with customer needs and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Security, or related field.
CISA, CISSP, CISM or ISO27001 Implementer/Auditor certifications preferred.
Proven experience as a CISO and implementing ISO27001 at clients.
Experience with risk assessment and policy development.

Responsabilités

Lead and manage a team of consultants in CISO/ISO programs.
Contribute actively to client projects and align security with business goals.
Assess client security maturity using ISO or NIST standards.
Develop and implement fit-for-purpose security programs.
Drive client security programs and act as a security champion.
Conduct risk assessments and identify vulnerabilities; propose mitigations.
Oversee policies, procedures, and controls implementation.
Provide management updates on security posture; run steering committees.

Lead and manage a team of CISO/ISO consultants
Contribute actively to client projects
Collaborate with clients to understand business objectives, risks, and security requirements

Recommend risk mitigation strategies
Oversee and support implementation of policies, procedures, and controls
Provide management updates on the state of security
Hold steering committees with customer stakeholders to guide and adapt security programs

Requirements

Citizenship in one of the 32 NATO member states
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Security, or a related field
Professional certifications such as CISA, CISSP, CISM, ISO27001 Implementer/Auditor or equivalent are strongly preferred
Proven experience as a CISO and/or successfully implementing ISO27k at clients
Experience with risk assessment, security roadmap creation, CISOaaS, and policy development
In-depth knowledge of ISO 27001, NIST, NIS-2, GDPR, and other relevant frameworks
Familiarity with risk management methodologies and their cybersecurity application
Ability to quickly understand business complexity and adapt communication and security programs to client needs
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Leadership skills to manage a team and collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams

Core Competencies

Demonstrates expertise in leading security initiatives, implementing ISO 27001 and NIST standards, and managing client relationships to enhance security maturity. Proven ability to conduct risk assessments, develop security programs, and communicate effectively with stakeholders.
