Abakus IT-Solutions in Brussels is seeking an experienced Cyber Security Strategy & Project Manager to lead strategic cybersecurity initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. You will define security roadmaps, drive cross-functional programs, engage senior stakeholders, and ensure successful delivery of strategic cyber objectives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience managing complex IT or cybersecurity projects.
• Strong expertise in information security governance, risk management, and strategic planning.
• Experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives within large organizations.
• Ability to translate complex topics into actionable business recommendations.
• Project Management certification (PRINCE2, ITIL, or equivalent).
• Change Management certification (ADKAR or equivalent).
• Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
• Experience within the financial services sector is considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Define and drive the cybersecurity strategy by translating business objectives into a prioritized portfolio of initiatives.
• Develop and manage strategic roadmaps, budgets, and execution plans aligned with organizational priorities.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables are effectively managed.
• Identify and proactively resolve project risks, issues, and cross-functional dependencies.
• Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and standardized solutions.
• Prepare executive-level reports, presentations, and strategic communications for senior leadership.
• Support governance activities by ensuring compliance with security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Foster collaboration across multidisciplinary teams to successfully deliver strategic cybersecurity programs.

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Strategy & Project Manager to lead strategic cybersecurity initiatives within a complex enterprise environment. You will play a key role in defining security roadmaps, driving cross-functional programs, engaging senior stakeholders, and ensuring successful delivery of strategic cybersecurity objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and drive the cybersecurity strategy by translating business objectives into a prioritized portfolio of initiatives.
• Develop and manage strategic roadmaps, budgets, and execution plans aligned with organizational priorities.
• Lead cybersecurity initiatives from inception to completion, ensuring milestones, risks, dependencies, and deliverables are effectively managed.

Required Profile

• At least 10 years of experience managing complex IT or cybersecurity projects and programs.
• Strong expertise in information security governance, risk management, and strategic planning.
• Proven experience leading enterprise transformation initiatives within large organizations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to simplify complex topics into actionable business recommendations.
• Project Management certification (PRINCE2, ITIL, or equivalent).
• Change Management certification (ADKAR or equivalent).
• Fluent in French, Dutch, and English.
• Experience within the financial services sector is considered a strong asset.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies is a plus.
• Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISA, or CRISC.
