Editx in Brussels seeks an Information Security Coordinator to strengthen governance of information security across our international IT Delivery team. You will identify, assess, and mitigate security risks while coordinating initiatives, supporting compliance, and embedding security best practices in IT projects and business operations.

Responsabilités

• Champion information security within the organization's governance framework.
• Drive and maintain the information security roadmap aligned with priorities and budgets.
• Translate policies into practical processes and controls for IT and business teams.
• Identify, assess, and monitor information security and IT risks across the organization.
• Maintain the security risk register and ensure mitigation actions are tracked to completion.
• Support compliance with internal policies and external regulations including GDPR, ISO, and NIS2 where applicable.
• Coordinate security initiatives such as:
• Identity & Access Management (IAM).
• Vulnerability Management.
• Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
• Network Segmentation.
• Promote Secure by Design principles across IT projects.
• Collaborate with internal IT teams and external partners to implement effective security controls.
• Oversee vulnerability management and patching compliance alongside IT Operations.
• Support incident response preparedness through the development of plans and playbooks.
• Coordinate activities during security incidents, including communication, investigation, and follow-up actions.
• Develop and enhance the organization's cybersecurity awareness program.
• Monitor and report on key security metrics, including phishing simulations and training completion.
• Prepare security reports for senior leadership and key stakeholders.
• Coordinate with external security partners, auditors, and regional teams.

We're looking for an experienced Information Security Coordinator to join a global organization's IT Delivery team. In this role, you'll play a key part in strengthening information security and cybersecurity across an international business.

As the tactical security champion, you'll help identify, assess, and mitigate security risks while coordinating security initiatives, supporting compliance, and embedding security best practices into IT projects and business operations.

Role Security Governance & Strategy

• Champion information security within the organization's security governance framework.
