Vector Synergy is seeking a security professional to contribute to NATO-related solution architectures in Brussels. The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and several years of related experience in security design and risk assessment, with familiarity of NATO directives and international environments.

You will guide security controls, perform risk assessments for communications and information systems, and help ensure compliance with NATO responsibilities under ACO and ACT.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related discipline from a nationally recognized university, plus 2 years post-related experience.
• Certifications such as CISA and CISSP.
• Good knowledge and experience (at least 2 years) in security accreditation, risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Knowledge of NATO Security Policy and supporting directives.
• Experience in an international environment with both military and civilian elements.
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organizations including ACO and ACT.

• Providing guidance on the application and operation of physical, procedural, and technical security controls.

• A minimum requirement of a Bachelor's degree at a nationally recognized / certified University in a related discipline and 2 years post-related experience. Exceptionally, the lack of a university degree may be compensated by the demonstration of a candidate's particular abilities or experience that is/are of interest to NCIA, that is, at least 6 years extensive and progressive expertise in duties related to the function of the post ;
• Relevant certifications, such as Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) ;
• Good knowledge and experience (at least 2 years) in the following areas:
• Security Accreditation of major CIS acquisition and/or development projects for a large organization.
• Security risk assessment methodologies and tools.
• Planning, design and implementation of security components of major CIS.
• Knowledge of NATO Security Policy and supporting directives.
• Prior experience of working in an international environment comprising both military and civilian elements.
• Knowledge of NATO responsibilities and organization, including Allied Command Operations (ACO) and Allied Command Transformation (ACT).
