Jobat partners with a global leader in specialized logistics to hire an Import & Customs Specialist in Belgium. You will manage end-to-end import processes and ensure compliance with cross-border regulations.

You will collaborate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, carriers and internal teams to review declarations, tariff classifications and duty calculations while driving process improvements and staying current with regulatory changes.

Responsabilités

• Manage import and customs clearance processes from A to Z
• Prepare, review and process customs documentation in compliance with local and international regulations
• Ensure accurate tariff classification, customs declarations, and duty calculations
• Coordinate with customs authorities, freight forwarders, carriers, and internal stakeholders
• Monitor shipments and proactively resolve customs or transportation issues
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations, trade compliance requirements, and company policies
• Maintain accurate records and customs documentation
• Support customs audits and provide required reports and documentation
• Identify opportunities to improve customs and import processes
• Keep up to date with changes in customs legislation and international trade regulations
