Qualifications

• Proven experience leading culinary or technical advisory teams in a food context.
• Ability to translate customer needs into practical food solutions.
• Strong knowledge of ingredients, products and raw materials.
• Understanding of HACCP and food safety basics.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop the Culinary Technical Advisor team.
• Act as culinary ambassador with customers, partners and internal stakeholders.
• Translate market needs into value-adding product solutions.
• Coordinate masterclasses and culinary events at the Vandemoortele Food Experience Center in Ghent.
• Link Facilities with Marketing/Commercial Management for cross-functional collaboration.
• Lead application testing, product validation and benchmarking.
• Support innovation launches with compelling product stories.
• Advise customers on functionality, performance and nutrition.
• Manage customer-specific technical projects from concept to implementation.
• Collaborate with Marketing, Sales, R&D, Quality and Operations to deliver customer-focused solutions.
