Nexeo in Brussels is seeking a Credit Operations & Control Officer to support a banking client with day-to-day operational and control activities around Professional and Individual Credits.

Ideal candidates have 2+ years in banking operations, with knowledge of professional loans, operational risk monitoring and strong MS Office skills; experience with front-end and back-end banking processes is a plus. Fluency in Dutch/French/English preferred.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of relevant professional experience in banking, credit operations or financial services.
• Good knowledge of Professional Loans / Professional Credits.
• Experience in control execution and operational risk monitoring.
• Strong interest in finance, banking products and credit processes.
• Understanding of both front-end and back-end banking processes.
• Experience in daily banking activities within a banking environment is a strong plus.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Banking or a related field.

Responsabilités

• Provide day-to-day operational support and control activities for Professional and Individual Credits.
• Monitor credit-related processes and ensure activities are performed accurately and in accordance with procedures.
• Support both front-end and back-end processes related to daily banking and credit activities.
• Ensure operational continuity and contribute to customer satisfaction.
• Execute and monitor operational controls within the departments in scope.
• Identify operational risks, anomalies and control weaknesses.
• Document and report control results to relevant stakeholders.
• Discuss negative control results with business partners and agree on action plans.
• Follow up on identified actions and ensure proper resolution.
• Manage and follow up on operational issues and incidents.
• Analyze problems, identify root causes and coordinate solutions.
• Prepare regular and ad hoc operational reporting.
• Provide feedback on control results, risks and actions.
• Act as a point of contact for internal and external clients.
• Collaborate with business partners and operational teams.
• Contribute to process improvement initiatives.
