Job summary

AB InBev in Belgium seeks a Mid-Senior Control Manager to own financial reporting and act as the Country Controller, driving controls across Belgium.

You will oversee month-end and year-end closings, ensure BEGAAP/IFRS compliance, and partner with BSC, Zone Finance and stakeholders to drive improvements and standardisation.

Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French is required; SAP, Cognos and advanced Excel are pluses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field with 3–5 years of relevant experience in accounting, controlling, audit or financial reporting.
• Strong understanding of BEGAAP and IFRS; analytical, proactive, and capable of influencing stakeholders across Finance, BSC and Zone teams.
• Fluency in English and Dutch and/or French is required; SAP, Cognos or advanced Excel experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure accurate monthly, quarterly, and year-end financial reporting (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow, CAPEX).
• Review variance analyses and challenge results where needed.
• Coordinate closing processes for Belgium; supervise BSC back-office activities across OTC, PTP, Treasury and General Accounting.
• Oversee BEGAAP/IFRS accounting and ensure proper reconciliations and controls.
• Lead projects to strengthen controls and standardise processes across countries where relevant.
• Act as Finance contact for external audits and drive remediation plans.
