Job summary

Serve the City Belgium is seeking a dynamic Corporate Engagement Events Intern for a 6-month CIP internship. You will lead volunteer groups and coordinate events to ensure engaging experiences for communities.

The role requires leadership, strong communication, public speaking, and the ability to work autonomously within a small team. Fluency in English and French is essential; Dutch is a plus. Typical hours are 28–35 per week, Monday–Friday 9:00–17:00.

Qualifications

• Must demonstrate leadership and ability to guide groups of volunteers.
• Strong communication skills with diverse stakeholders.
• Public speaking experience is required or beneficial.
• Excellent organizational and coordination abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to changes.

Responsibilities

• Lead volunteer groups during community projects from start to finish.
• Provide guidance, motivation and support to volunteers throughout the process.
• Conduct pre-event briefings and post-event debriefings, gather feedback and celebrate achievements.
• Assist Corporate Engagement team with organizing and coordinating events and logistics.
• Capture moments during events with photos/videos to support promotion.
