Aston Soha, Brussels-based, is seeking an experienced Corporate Accountant to join its Finance team. You will manage the accounting activities of several entities and ensure accurate, timely financial reporting, while collaborating closely with external auditors.

The ideal candidate has at least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, is autonomous and proactive, and fluent in French and English (Dutch is a strong plus).

Qualifications

• At least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or international environment.
• Autonomous, proactive and able to take ownership of responsibilities.
• Solid understanding of general accounting and closing procedures.
• Fluent in French and English, both written and spoken.
• Dutch is a strong plus.
• Structured, accurate and detail-oriented.
• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, international environment.
• Good knowledge of Excel and accounting/ERP systems is an advantage.

For one of our clients, an established company based in Brussels, we are looking for an experienced and autonomous Corporate Accountant to join their Finance team.

Your Role

As a Corporate Accountant, you will be responsible for the accounting activities of several entities and will play a key role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting.

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing the general accounting of several entities;
• Recording and reviewing accounting transactions;
• Managing accounts payable and accounts receivable;
• Preparing monthly and annual closings;
• Performing bank reconciliations and reviewing balance sheet accounts;
• Preparing VAT returns and other statutory filings;
• Contributing to financial reporting and analysis;
• Working closely with external auditors and other financial partners;
• Identifying opportunities to improve and streamline accounting processes.

Your Profile

• You have at least 4 years of relevant accounting experience, ideally in a corporate or international environment;
