Jan De Nul Group is seeking an experienced Contract Manager Offshore Renewables to lead contractual and commercial aspects for complex international projects. The role operates from Aalst (Hofstade), Belgium, with an international project footprint and occasional travel.
You will translate technical and operational details into effective contractual strategies, manage risks and negotiations, and support the full project lifecycle from tender to close-out.
Are you an experienced Contract Manager with a strong interest in offshore renewable energy? At Jan De Nul Group, you will play a key role in the contract management of international offshore wind and renewable energy projects, based in Aalst (Hofstade), Belgium.
Jan De Nul Group delivers specialised services for the offshore renewable energy market, including offshore wind farms, subsea cables and umbilicals, seabed intervention works, rock installation and ballasting. Depending on the needs of our clients, we provide integrated solutions on an EPC basis.
As our Offshore Renewables activities continue to grow, we are looking for an experienced Contract Manager to be responsible for the contractual and commercial aspects of complex international projects.
You will work closely with project management, tender engineering, legal, commercial and operational teams, protecting Jan De Nul's interests throughout the project lifecycle, from tender to execution and close-out.
Based in Aalst, Belgium, you will support projects worldwide.
As a Contract Manager Offshore Renewables, you take ownership of the contractual management of complex offshore wind and renewable energy projects.
You act as a key player in the project team, identifying contractual risks and opportunities and translating technical and operational developments into effective contractual and commercial strategies.

What do you need?
You have a higher degree in Law, Engineering, Finance, Business Engineering, Economics, Quantity Surveying or a related discipline, combined with 7–10 years of relevant experience in contract or commercial project management.
You have a strong understanding of contractual and commercial principles and can translate complex technical and operational matters into effective contractual strategies.

Experience in offshore wind, offshore energy, subsea or marine projects is a strong asset.
