Flowtec Group is seeking a Contract Engineer – Electrical & Infrastructure Projects to influence contracts, risks and financial performance beyond execution. You will align with Project Management, Legal, Finance and Supply Chain, with hybrid work between home and the Brussels office.

Requirements include 7 years in a project setting, a background in electrical/infrastructure domains, MV/LV experience is a plus, and fluency in Dutch.

Qualifications

• Up to 7 years of experience in a project-based environment.
• Background in electrical engineering, construction, energy, infrastructure, commercial, legal, finance or project management.
• Experience with MV/LV or electrical projects is a plus.
• Structured, proactive, curious, and comfortable working in an international, cross-functional environment.
• Dutch language is mandatory.

Responsabilités

• Support contract reviews, tender activities and contract handovers
• Identify and manage contractual, commercial, scope and schedule risks — the same risks you already manage as a Project Engineer, seen from the contract side
• Support Project Managers with contract administration and contractual obligations
• Contribute to change management, variation orders, claims and contractual correspondence
• Support margin protection, cost control, cash flow and forecasting
• Work cross-functionally to ensure compliant and profitable project delivery
• Contribute to Contract Management processes, governance and best practices

Contract Engineer – Electrical & Infrastructure Projects

About the role

Are you a Project Engineer who feels the real leverage in a project lies beyond execution — in the contracts, risks and financial performance behind it?

You'll keep everything that already makes you strong — understanding scope, planning and technical constraints — and apply it to a new field: contract and commercial management.

You'll work closely with Project Management, Legal, Finance and Supply Chain, with progressive autonomy and hands‑on support from experienced Contract Management colleagues.

Depending on your profile and location, a hybrid arrangement between home and the Brussels office will be discussed with you during the process.

Key Responsibilities

• Support contract reviews, tender activities and contract handovers
• Identify and manage contractual, commercial, scope and schedule risks — the same risks you already manage as a Project Engineer, seen from the contract side

Profile

• Up to 7 years of experience in a project-based environment — a background as Project Engineer is a strong fit
• Background in electrical engineering, construction, energy, infrastructure, commercial, legal, finance or project management
• Experience with MV/LV or electrical projects is a plus
• Strong interest in contracts, customer projects and commercial topics — no prior contract management experience required; curiosity and willingness to learn matter more
• Structured, proactive, curious, and comfortable working in an international, cross‑functional environment
