Robert Half Talent Acquisitions is recruiting two Contract Managers for permanent roles based in Belgium, with regular project-site presence in Braine-l'Alleud or Artselaar. The two positions include French-speaking and Dutch-speaking Contract Managers, each requiring excellent English and good command of the other national language.

• Master's degree or equivalent professional experience in a related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of contract management experience in infrastructure/engineering projects.

• Strong analytical skills and ability to translate contractual requirements into practical solutions.
• Knowledge of public procurement legislation and governance frameworks.

Responsabilités

• Analyse and monitor contractual obligations across a portfolio of projects.
• Act as liaison between project teams and the central contract management function.
• Support bids from tender phase through execution and close-out.
• Advise internal stakeholders on contractual provisions, SLAs, variations and amendments.
• Identify and mitigate contractual risks and support negotiations and claims with legal teams.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of contract management processes.

Robert Half Talent Acquisitions is currently looking for Contract Managers (m/f/x) for a permanent position based in Braine-l'Alleud or in Artselaar, with regular presence on project sites.

We are recruiting two professionals for this position:

• a French-speaking Contract Manager
• a Dutch-speaking Contract Manager

For both roles, candidates must have an excellent command of English and a good working knowledge of the other national language.

Your role :

As Contract Manager (m/f/x), you will play a key role in ensuring that contractual commitments are properly understood, managed and leveraged throughout the lifecycle of major infrastructure and mobility projects.

Working closely with project managers, bid teams, legal specialists and operational stakeholders, you will act as a trusted advisor on all contractual matters, from tender stage through project completion.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Analysing and monitoring contractual obligations across a portfolio of projects.
• Acting as the key liaison between operational project teams and the central contract management function.
• Supporting projects from tender phase through execution and final close-out.
• Advising internal stakeholders on contractual provisions, service level agreements, variations and amendments.
• Supporting bid teams in the identification and assessment of contractual, technical, scheduling and financial risks.
• Preparing and contributing to internal risk review and governance committees.
• Assisting project managers in managing contractual relationships with clients, consortium partners, subcontractors and suppliers.
• Coordinating contractual negotiations and supporting the preparation of claims and dispute files in collaboration with legal teams.
• Identifying, monitoring and mitigating contractual risks while maximizing commercial opportunities.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of contract management processes, methodologies and tools.

Your profile for the Contract Manager position :

• Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in contract management, project controls, project management or a related function within infrastructure, construction, engineering or industrial environments.
• Experience working within complex partnership structures, consortiums or multi-stakeholder projects.
• Strong understanding of subcontractor management and contractual governance.
• Solid knowledge of public procurement legislation and public-sector contracting.
• Experience with DBFM, PPP or large infrastructure projects is considered a strong asset.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to translate contractual requirements into practical business solutions.
• Structured, detail-oriented and capable of managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.
• A pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset, combined with sound commercial judgement.
