Merchery in Brussels is seeking a Content Marketer to own email communications and website content. You’ll leverage our CRM and CMS, turning expertise into compelling copy and shaping workflows to support our lifecycle strategy.
The role is cross-functional, collaborating with Content & Growth Managers, and involves researching, writing, producing emails, blog posts and pages, plus A/B testing and optimisation. You will grow with the company as it scales across regions.
Merchery is born in 2020 from the simple observation that corporate gifts and promotional products are most of the time low quality. This billion $ market is shady, and often made of products people throw away after two weeks. Our vision at Merchery is to offer beautiful, useful, and carefully sourced products that people actually want. To support our ongoing mission and current growth pace, we're looking for a Content Marketer to help support our Markcom team efforts.
As our Content Marketer, you'll own two things: producing all email communications to our database, and managing our website content. Our CRM and CMS will be the backbones of your work, while you focus on turning our expertise into things people actually read and connect with.
This is a generalist role in which you'll work directly with our Content & Growth Managers. You'll deliver content that aligns with our overarching lifecycle strategy, answering questions like: Which message, to which person, and when? How do we make this story something that drives clicks?
You'll research, write, produce and ship - drafting beautifully designed emails, blog posts and web pages with compelling copy, shaping the HubSpot workflows that support our strategy, and A/B testing key components for constant optimisation.
This role sits at the crossroads of Sales, Marketing and Product, and therefore involves a lot of collaboration. It's data-centric, demanding in execution, calls for an eye for design, and is pivotal to many teams.
Note that the scope of this role will grow as we do - what it looks like in year two may look very different from day one.
Will be fun
We are still an early stage project, and really want to create the ideal working environment. Along with flexibility, you will have responsibilities and if there is something we can promise you it's that you will have an impact: on the business, on the environment, and on all our stakeholders. Our commitment to your well-being extends beyond the workplace. We regularly organise exciting activities and team-building events to foster a vibrant and collaborative company culture. Merchery is growing at an astonishing pace. The opportunities for personal and professional development are limitless: we strongly believe that this project has the potential to become a global success.
