Your journey with us

• You will join a team that delivers unique and independent debt & capital advice for the complex and strategic financing challenges our clients face within the dynamic infrastructure sector.
• You assist clients in achieving their funding goals for a wide range of infrastructure assets, including advising on optimal capital structures, development financing, and debt and (quasi-) equity raising for major capital projects.
• You have first‑line involvement in transaction processes for infrastructure deals, including negotiations, management presentations, detailed financial analyses, and crucial client/investor communications.
• You are in charge of leading the development of sophisticated financial models, conducting robust scenario analyses, preparing compelling transaction marketing materials, and playing a critical role in the actual debt raising processes for infrastructure assets.
• You assist Managers, Directors & Partners in growing our infrastructure and capital projects debt advisory business by preparing and participating in pitches, conducting in-depth industry/company/transaction research specific to infrastructure, and leveraging existing client relationships.
• You work on diverse infrastructure debt advisory projects, maintaining continuous dialogue with clients, commercial banks, development finance institutions, infrastructure funds and investors, and their advisors.
• You work closely with your direct colleagues of DCA across Belgium & the Netherlands, and within Deloitte’s global Debt & Capital Advisory network, particularly with our dedicated infrastructure sector teams.

Let’s talk about you

• You hold a Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or an equivalent field.
• You bring 2 to 6 years of relevant (transactional) experience in debt financing, specifically within infrastructure projects, from a bank, fund, international consulting firm, or can demonstrate equivalent experience.
• You have strong analytical & technical skills, are highly results‑oriented, and demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and quality when delivering under pressure. You have a good proficiency level in financial modelling (F1F9 / FAST) and MS Office.
• You have a commercial mindset and a deep understanding of the financial markets, debt products, and the specific nuances of infrastructure project finance.
• You work independently on your own projects under director & partner supervision, while also being a dedicated and ambitious team player with very good communication skills.
• You are fluent in Dutch and English.
