g2 Recruitment is seeking an experienced Mechanical Construction Manager to lead piping packages on a pharmaceutical construction project in Antwerp, Belgium. This freelance role starts immediately on a 4+ month contract and requires onsite management and contractor/sub-contractor coordination.

Ideal candidates have 10+ years in construction, 5+ years in construction management, and strong process-industry experience.

Qualifications

• Mechanical/piping background
• 10+ years in the construction industry
• 5+ years experience in construction management
• Experience in process industries such as chemical, pharma, power, petrochemical
• Onsite work experience for contractor or sub-contractor
• Willing to be based in Portugal
• English language proficiency

Responsabilités

• Lead mechanical/piping packages on pharmaceutical construction projects
• Manage freelance/contract resources and site coordination
• Interface with subcontractors, clients and project team
• Support start of SEPTEMBER intake and interview candidates
• Work based in Antwerp, Belgium on a 4+ month contract

My client works across projects in the Pharmaceutical, Oil and Gas, Semi-Conductor and Data Centre Market. My client are especially interested to interview construction managers with experience handling mechanical packages, including piping scopes. They are also particularly interested in speaking with people with contractor/sub contractor experience.
