Ayvens is seeking a Compliance professional to lead regulatory adherence across the organization’s perimeter. You will coordinate policy implementation, run risk assessments, and advise management on regulatory and reputational risks related to new products and services.

The role requires strong English communication, audit experience, and the ability to work independently in a hybrid setup with opportunities for training and internal mobility.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
  • Knowledge of regulatory environment, risk, and legal activities in the financial sector.
  • Experience with internal/external audits or an equivalent.
  • Knowledge of control techniques to identify compliance risks and of compliance risk management and analysis.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills in English. French and/or Dutch is a plus.
  • Experience with high-risk awareness and with dealing with highly sensitive and confidential material.
  • Ability to connect with the business and motivate them to follow compliance rules.
  • Independent and structured; able to make decisions when needed.

Responsabilités

  • Ensuring that local regulations are complied with in addition to Group requirements and addressing exemptions if local rules are more restrictive.
  • Coordinate policy implementation across stakeholders in a project-based manner.
  • Implement a monitoring, surveillance, and controls framework to prevent/detect compliance risks.
  • Perform regular non-compliance risk assessments and escalate findings to local and Group committees.
  • Advise management on non-compliance and reputational risks related to new products or services.
  • Oversee the Compliance program with support from Ayvens central teams.
  • Run comitology and training/awareness actions to engage the business unit.
  • Liaise with the business line to ensure timely rollout of group policies.
  • Engage in committees and present work.

Your responsibilities
  • Ensuring that local regulations are complied with in addition to the Group requirements, and addressing requests for exemption if local regulations are more restrictive than Group rules.
  • You will be working in a Project based manner. For coordinating the implementation of specific policies with the concerning stakeholders.
  • Implementing an adequate monitoring, surveillance, and controls framework to prevent and/or detect compliance and reputational risks.
  • You will be performing regular non-compliance risk assessments, identifying, evaluating, and escalating compliance incidents within your perimeter to both local and Group committees as per the defined governance.
  • Back testing the 1st level of controls (performing level 2 controls).
  • Advising the management of the entity and the business unit active within the entity daily on compliance topics; in particular, you provide your opinion on the non-compliance and reputational risks linked to new products or services and other significant changes.
  • Ensuring the oversight of the Compliance program for your perimeter. Here, you will be able to rely on the support of Ayvens central Compliance teams.
  • Animating the business unit through a dedicated comitology and training/awareness actions.
  • Managing the policy office and liaising with the business line to ensure timely roll-out and implementation of group policies.
  • Engaging in committees and preparing and presenting your work.
Who are we looking for?
  • You have a bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
  • You have knowledge of the regulatory environment, risk, and legal activities in the financial sector or in a regulatory/supervisory control body (e.g., experience in banking, financing, and/or insurance environment).
  • You have experience with internal/external audits or an equivalent.
  • You have knowledge of control techniques to identify compliance risks and of compliance risk management and analysis.
  • You have strong communication and presentation skills in English. French and/or Dutch is a plus.
  • You have experience with high-risk awareness and with dealing with highly sensitive and confidential material.
  • You have the ability to connect with the business (adopting an independent partner posture, while understanding concerns) and to motivate them to follow the rules of compliance.
  • You can work independently and in a structured manner. If needed, you are not afraid of making decisions.
