Ayvens seeks a compliance professional to manage local regulatory requirements and risk across its perimeter. You will coordinate policy rollout, monitor controls, and advise management on non-compliance or reputational risks tied to new products or changes.

The role emphasizes project-based collaboration, audits experience, and strong English communication with French/Dutch as a plus. You will work with Ayvens central teams and contribute to training and risk awareness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
• Knowledge of regulatory environment, risk, and legal activities in finance.
• Experience with internal/external audits or equivalent.
• Knowledge of control techniques to identify compliance risks and risk management.

Responsabilités

• Ensure compliance with local and group regulations and handle exemptions when needed.
• Coordinate implementation of policies with stakeholders in a project-based setup.
• Implement monitoring, surveillance, and controls to prevent or detect compliance risks.
• Perform regular non-compliance risk assessments and escalate incidents to committees.
• Back test first level controls and support governance processes.
• Advise management on non-compliance and reputational risks related to new products or changes.
• Oversee the compliance program for the defined perimeter and liaise with central teams.
• Lead comitology and training actions to engage the business unit.

Your responsibilities

• Ensuring that local regulations are complied with in addition to the Group requirements, and addressing requests for exemption if local regulations are more restrictive than Group rules.
• You will be working in a Project based manner.
• For coordinating the implementation of specific policies with the concerning stakeholders.
• Implementing an adequate monitoring, surveillance, and controls framework to prevent and/or detect compliance and reputational risks.
• You will be performing regular non-compliance risk assessments, identifying, evaluating, and escalating compliance incidents within your perimeter to both local and Group committees as per the defined governance.
• Back testing the 1st level of controls (performing level 2 controls).
• Advising the management of the entity and the business unit active within the entity daily on compliance topics; in particular, you provide your opinion on the non‑compliance and reputational risks linked to new products or services and other significant changes.
• Ensuring the oversight of the Compliance program for your perimeter.
• Here, you will be able to rely on the support of Ayvens central Compliance teams.
• Animating the business unit through a dedicated comitology and training/awareness actions.
• Managing the policy office and liaising with the business line to ensure timely roll‑out and implementation of group policies.
• Engaging in committees and preparing and presenting your work.

Who are we looking for?

• You have a bachelor degree or equivalent experience.
• You have knowledge of the regulatory environment, risk, and legal activities in the financial sector or in a regulatory/supervisory control body (e.g., experience in banking, financing, and/or insurance environment).
• You have experience with internal/external audits or an equivalent.
• You have knowledge of control techniques to identify compliance risks and of compliance risk management and analysis.
• You have strong communication and presentation skills in English.
• French and/or Dutch is a plus.
• You have experience with high‑risk awareness and with dealing with highly sensitive and confidential material.
• You have the ability to connect with the business (adopting an independent partner posture, while understanding concerns) and to motivate them to follow the rules of compliance.
• You can work independently and in a structured manner.
• If needed, you are not afraid of making decisions.
